Things to watch
Children's Emergency Rescue starts a run of 3 episodes next week on Tuesday 28th Jan at 20:00 on BBC2. Featuring of course our very own Embrace team....all looking like super heroes on this picture (without capes and external underwear though!). I shall be watching with interest as we often supply articles and do literature searches for the team so it will be nice to put faces to names.
Don't forget if you work for Sheffield Children's Hospital ....we are your librarians...you don't have to be based at the Western Bank site to use our services. More info here

Things hurting?
If you have taken up exercise as part of a New Year resolution or to to shift the bulge caused by eating too many muffins at our Journal Club this NHS Choices article explains why you might be hurting.

Things to learn from
Talking of Journal Club those of you who didn't attend this week missed a great learning opportunity...come on junior doctors save the consultants from eating too many muffins! Check out the programme and past presentations here

Things said about libraries
Apparently Albert Einstein said "The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library". These days you don't have to come to us ...although we are very happy to see you...but if you don't know how to find us we are next to Clinical Skills on F Floor of Stephenson Wing via the link corridor on C Floor from the main hospital or via the outside entrance opposite Starbucks. Sadly we don't look like the libraries featured here but having looked at all these images we are planning hard for redevelopment..which is your favourite..mine is the one in Norway I think.

Things to eat
A personal favourite is this fish dish Spanish inspired hake with stewed peppers. Good flavours and colourful too. Recipe here
